Who can apply for a PNB credit card?

Both Filipinos and foreigners residing in the Philippines can apply for any PNB credit card as long as they fit the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 21 to 65 years old

  • Must be a Filipino citizen and Philippine resident or a foreigner with local residence

  • Must be employed for at least 1 year or self-employed profitably for 2 years

  • Must have a gross annual income of at least ₱120,000

What are the requirements to apply for a PNB credit card?

You only need a few documents to apply and get approved for a PNB credit card. Documents differ depending on your employment and residence status as seen below:

 

PNB Credit Card Requirements for Employed:

 

  • 1 valid ID (SSS, TIN, Passport, Driver’s License, Company ID)

  • For non-carded or non-depositor: proof of billing

  • Any of the following:

    • Latest ITR (Form 2316 or Form 1701)

    • 3 month latest payslip 

    • Certificate of Employment stating date hired, position, and gross income

       

PNB Credit Card Requirements for Self-Employed

 

  • 1 valid ID (SSS, TIN, Passport, Driver’s License, Company ID)

  • Latest ITR (Form 2316 or Form 1701)

  • Latest Audited Financial Statement (AFS) 

  • For non-carded or non-depositor: proof of billing

  • Optional: Copy of registration papers with DTI or SEC

     

PNB Credit Card Requirements for Foreigners:

 

Choose from either Option A or Option B below.

Option A:

  • Passport

  • Alien Certificate of Residence (ACR)

  • Work permit issued by DOLE if employed in the Philippines

  • For non-carded or non-depositor: proof of billing

  • Any of the following IDs:

    • SSS

    • Driver’s License

    • Company ID

    • National ID

    • Internal Revenue Service (IRS) ID)

 

Option B:

  • Passport

  • Unexpired Philippine Retirement Authority ID (PRA) or Special Resident Retirement Visa (SRRV)

  • For non-carded or non-depositor: proof of billing

  • Any of the following:

    • Bureau of Immigration Approved Order

    • Certificate of Deposit issued by the Bank where the PRA/Visa is deposited
