📌 Inhouse Installment

UnionBank’s Inhouse Installment allows you to purchase big-ticket items, pay bills, and do balance transfers in lighter monthly payments. The bank’s Inhouse Installment programs include the following: 

  • EasyConvert - Turn your credit card purchases into light installments. This applies to unbilled local, international, and online straight single-receipt purchases of at least ₱3,000. 
  • EasyBill – Manage the payments for your monthly credit card bill by converting part of your billed balances into installments. 
  • EasyCash – Convert your available credit limit into cash and pay it back in monthly installments. 
  • EasyTransfer – If you have multiple credit cards and you want to remember just one due date, use EasyTransfer to transfer other credit card balances to your UnionBank credit card. The total will then be divided into monthly installments.

How to Use UnionBank’s Inhouse Installment

To apply for UnionBank credit card installment, follow these steps: 

  1. Contact the UnionBank Installments hotline at (+632) 8981-4700. 
  2. Click the link sent to you via email or SMS.
  3. Follow the succeeding prompts to complete your application.

📌 PayEasy

PayEasy is another installment program from UnionBank. Its difference from the bank’s other installment schemes, however, lies in its 0% interest feature, making it ideal for big-ticket purchases. Payment terms are up to 36 months. 

In addition, PayEasy is available only at select stores. Fortunately, the bank has partnerships with more than 7,000 in-store merchants nationwide. 

PayEasy doesn’t have a maximum number of transactions. Nevertheless, note that use of this service is still subject to approval. 

How to Use UnionBank’s PayEasy

To use UnionBank’s PayEasy program, follow these instructions: 

  1. Check if the shop you’re buying from is part of UnionBank’s list of partner merchants.[2] 
  2. Once you confirm that the merchant is a PayEasy partner, swipe your card. 
  3. Acknowledge the terms and conditions by signing the PayEasy charge slip.

📌 PayBill

How to pay bills using a UnionBank credit card? You can do so using PayBill, the bank’s facility that automatically takes payments for utility bills from your credit card account. 

With this system, utility bills become part of your credit card bill. This means you need to remember only one due date for all your bills. If your application for PayBill is approved, you will see the enrolled utility bill in your Statement of Account. 

How to Use UnionBank’s PayBill 

To apply for PayBill, you need to accomplish the auto-charge enrollment form via any of the following methods: 

  • Call the bank’s Customer Service Hotline at (02) 8841-8600.
  • E-mail the accomplished enrollment form to UnionBank at Follow this format for the e-mail subject: PayBill | Enrollment | (Biller) | (Cardholder’s Name)
  • Log into UnionBank Online. Once logged in, click Credit Cards > Features and Benefits > PayBill.

📌 UnionBank Cash Advance 

With the UnionBank Cash Advance program, you can use your credit card to get cash up to the limit set by the bank. This comes in handy during emergencies or when you’re short on cash. 

UnionBank charges ₱200 per cash advance transaction. The monthly interest, meanwhile, will depend on your credit card. Here are the rates:

  1. Go to to register. See to it that your credit card is qualified for enrollment. 
  2. After enrollment, you’ll receive an email containing your DragonPass membership number and PIN. 
  3. Download the DragonPass app and log in using the credentials sent to your email. 
  4. After logging in to your DragonPass app, choose a lounge at an airport. Check lounges with the Member Access button. 
  5. After choosing a lounge, click Member Access
  6. You’ll be then issued with a DragonPass ID. Show it to the staff of your chosen lounge.

A UnionBank credit card also serves as a safety net just in case you run out of cash during your trips abroad. This is because you can avail of a cash advance even when you’re outside the country. 

How to Use Your UnionBank Credit Card for Overseas Transactions 

Just use your credit card the way you would in the Philippines. Tap or swipe it at payment terminals. 

To avail of cash advance abroad, go to an ATM of Visa and Mastercard’s associated networks. Keep in mind that a cash advance PIN is required for this transaction. 

The said PIN is a six-digit number that you’re supposed to nominate to access this service. Nominate yours by logging into your UnionBank Online account or calling the bank’s customer service at (632) 841-8600 or 1-800-1888-2277 (Domestic Toll Free).
