You’re probably familiar of the Land Transportation Office or LTO. Branched under the Department of Transportation and Communication, LTO is the agency responsible for all forms of land transport, along with the implementation of transportation laws, rules, and regulations.
This is also where car owners register their vehicles and where drivers can apply for and renew their licenses. In addition, the LTO files and handles complaints made against other motor vehicle owners and operators in the Philippines.
Since the LTO handles numerous transactions everyday, the agency decided to put up branches on multiple cities nationwide. If you need to process a complaint or renew your driver’s license, below is a list of LTO branches in Metro Manila to go to.
LTO Branches in Metro Manila
Location: Gen. Gas Plant Bldg., Fishport Complex, North Bay, Navotas City
Director: Arnaldo O. Oliveros
Contact Number: 283-3510
Located within the Fishport Complex, the Navotas district office of the LTO is where most truck operators and drivers typically head to. If this happens to be the branch closest to you, expect plenty of people on any given day.
Location: 121 Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City
Director: Noel D. Batolina
Contact Number: 532-2726
This satellite office happens to be in the middle of Shaw, so expect traffic from this side of the metro. Like all other LTO branches, requests for licenses and renewal can be made here.
Location: No. 96 Mirasol Street, San Roque, Cubao, Quezon City
Director: Ricardo L. Tan
Contact Number: 440-6424 or 356-0708
Given the sheer size of the National Capital Region, it makes plenty of sense to have a central LTO hub. LTO NCR is one of the busiest LTO branches given it’s proximity to EDSA.
Location: Governor Pascual Avenue, Malabon City
Director: Arnel B. Ropa
Contact Number: 351-7628
EDSA too far for you? Residents of Malabon can head to LTO Malabon if they need to renew their licenses or check coding schemes.
LTO Las Piñas
Location: Francisco Motors Compound, Talon I, Las Piñas City
Director: Celeste P. Mayoralgo
Contact Number: 875-2030
What’s interesting about this particular branch is that it also happens to be located in the same compound as Francisco Motors, so if you’re looking to renew your license or registration, it may also be the perfect time to get your car checked or shop around for parts.
Location: Butel Bldg., Pililia St., Makati City
Director: Luciano L. Caparas
Contact Number: 895-8678 or 897-5198
LTO Makati is also one of the busiest LTO branches in the country. Make sure to queue early here to avoid delay and rush hour traffic.
LTO La Loma
Location: #3 Biak na Bato Street, corner P. Florentino Street, Barangay, Sta. Mesa Heights, Quezon City
Director: Simplicio R. De Guzman
Contact Number: 711-4444 or 416-3052
Another one of the multiple LTO branches located in Quezon City is LTO La Loma. Getting here is easy via LRT Blumentritt.

New List of Provincial LTO Branches:
The Senate recently approved the creation of new LTO offices across multiple provinces in the Philippines, in the hopes of providing “faster registration and more efficient services” to Filipinos. Check out the map of new LTO branches shared by the Department of Transportation below.
Before visiting an LTO branch, whether for car registration or renewal, check the operating hours of said LTO office and make sure to bring all requirements. This does not only save you time but also prevents further hassle.
