Moneymax is an online comparison platform for financial products such as car insurance, credit cards, and loans. Our goal is to drive financial inclusion in the Philippines by helping Filipinos compare and choose products that best suit their needs. We also focus on driving financial literacy through our blog and social media channels.
Established in 2014 as part of CompareAsiaGroup, Moneymax started by offering car insurance and has branched out to banking products like credit cards and loans. In 2020, the company launched Gadget Protect, the country’s first digital mobile protection product.
At present, Moneymax is home to 100+ employees. In 2019, we welcomed one of our biggest investors, Experian, who led the series B1 funding of $20 million to help deliver the Group’s mission in empowering people to build healthier financial lives.
CompareAsiaGroup is the parent company of Moneymax that operates in six markets in the region: in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Before joining CompareAsiaGroup in 2016, Danny was honed with 32 years of Insurance Broking Sales and Management skills. Danny holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Management at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran. Follow Danny on LinkedIn.
Munmun joined CompareAsiaGroup in 2017 after having been a Product Marketing Manager in IBM. She has 12+ years of experience of working in several technology companies in India, UK, and Belgium. Greg joined Moneymax in 2017 and is responsible for the daily operations of its telesales and fulfillment teams. His role also includes managing and growing Moneymax’s relationships with its car insurance partners. His 13+ years in customer service, financial services, and business development has helped him transform Moneymax operations to what it is today. Andie joined CompareAsiaGroup in 2019 handling the Finance Department. Prior to this, Andie had 3 years of experience as an external auditor for various industries. Maria Iniego joined CompareAsiaGroup in 2015 handling Human Resources and Office Management. She has 8+ years of experience working for startup companies in the fintech industry, and has had more than 5 years of experience in recruitment. Prior to joining CompareAsiaGroup, Dhruv has had 5+ years of consulting experience having contributed to organizations such as KPMG and AT Kearney in India. Dhruv holds an MBA degree from the Asian Institute of Management and currently manages banking and affiliate relationships for CAG in the local market. As a Product Manager, Anton’s job is to ensure that customers get the best experience when interacting with Moneymax. This includes optimizing the mobile platform, internal process improvements, implementation of additional features, and enhancement of existing functionalities. Anton joined Moneymax in 2017. Franco has had 15 years of experience in software development and technical research. He has worked in South Korean startup tech companies, universities, and NGOs. He is an MS degree holder and a PhD candidate, both in Bioinformatics. He is responsible for product development and manages the engineering team and overall technical aspects of Moneymax. Mayee joined Moneymax in 2017 after having been a Community and Content Manager for advertising and digital marketing agencies. So how do we make money then?
We believe that companies must still make a profit to continue servicing customers in the best possible way. This helps us expand our service offerings to you and continuously make improvements to our platform. Instead of charging our customers, we enter into partnerships with the insurance companies and banks that you can see on our websites. In many of our partnership agreements, we earn a fee for every successful referral we make.
While making a profit is important, there is nothing more important than integrity and customer trust. All of our comparison results are based on carefully selected criteria that are designed to help you make a better financial decision.
