If you’ve been working for years in Metro Manila, you know only too well the horrors of commuting in a huge parking lot that is EDSA. The horrible traffic and jam-packed MRT and buses make you wonder what you’ve done to deserve such an ordeal. Fortunately, there’s an easier, faster, safer, and more comfortable alternative: the Point-to-Point or P2P Bus Service.

The Perks of Riding a P2P Bus

P2P Bus Services

Unlike regular buses with multiple stops, P2P buses have a fixed departure schedule and fewer pick-up and drop-off points. This enables commuters to cut travel time. P2P buses also feature convenient amenities like comfortable seats, restrooms, and free Wi-Fi that make getting around Metro Manila a pleasant experience.
You wouldn’t mind paying extra for a P2P bus ride because its premium service is worth the higher price compared to MRT and regular buses. It’s also a lot better than losing your precious time and money to traffic jams.
However, P2P routes, schedules, and fares are too complicated and confusing for first-timers to understand. Many Filipino commuters aren’t very familiar with the P2P Bus System, as it’s been implemented in the Philippines for just a few years now.
Be well-informed about your transport options to plan your commutes better. Get started with this handy guide to P2P bus services in Metro Manila.

Final Thoughts

Being a relatively new public transport mode in the Philippines, the P2P bus system is still far from perfect—but it’s a step in the right direction.
Using this P2P bus service guide, plan your commutes well to save time and energy. For example, instead of driving all the way to your destination, you can travel faster this way: drive to a mall with a P2P bus station, park your car, and take a P2P bus to your destination. Also, follow the Facebook pages of P2P bus operators to stay updated on any changes in P2P routes, schedules, and fares.
